Blackhole requests the following permissions solely to enable its core functionality:

Usage Access
Used to understand how much time is spent on selected apps and to generate usage insights such as daily and weekly summaries.

Overlay Permission
Used to display a pause screen when a time limit is reached, helping you step away from restricted apps.

Accessibility Service
Used to prevent restricted apps from being accessed during active block periods.
This permission is optional and can be skipped.

Blackhole does not read screen content, record keystrokes, or collect sensitive information through this service.

Notification Access
Used to send reminders, alerts, and usage insights related to your screen habits.

3. Authentication

Blackhole may offer Google Sign-In for account identification purposes.
We do not access or store personal profile information beyond what is required for authentication.

Premium access is managed through Google Play Billing and is linked to the user’s Google Play account.

4. Data Storage

All data generated by Blackhole:

• Is stored locally on your device
• Can be removed by uninstalling the app
• Is not backed up to the cloud by Blackhole

If you change devices, usage data does not transfer unless handled by your own system backups.

5. Third-Party Services

Blackhole uses:

• Google Play Billing for premium purchases
• Google Authentication for optional sign-in

No third-party services are used for analytics, advertising, or tracking.

Blackhole is not designed for children under the age of 13.
